Compete for the Hometown Cup

Teams from across North America flock to New Carlisle for the opportunity to play on Wiffle®Ball's Grandest Stage and win the prestigious Hometown Cup. This year, the biggest event of the summer will be held on July 25-26.


Pool Play is played at the New Prairie Little League complex on Saturday, beginning at 10am ET.  Qualifying teams return on Sunday morning for the Hometown Cup Playoffs.  The final four teams advance on to Migley Field for the Hometown Cup Finals at 1:20pm ET on Sunday afternoon.

Discover ORWBL's rich history

The Old Republic Wiffle®Ball League began play in June 2007 and was established by co-founders Jared Emmons and Koby Keck. Although it started primarily in the New Carlisle community, ORWBL has spread throughout the Michiana region, as various cities and towns in southwest Michigan and northern Indiana have been home to ORWBL franchises. 2020 will mark the 14th season. The league has handed out season awards since it's inaugural season, and has recorded statistics since 2010. Maple City Magic win 4th consecutive World Series title in 6 games over BFAM

The Maple City Magic won their 4th consecutive ORWBL World Series title in 2020 after taking down the National League Champion Elkhart BFAM in 6 games.  For Elkhart, it was quite a special run as they defeated the Newts and Panthers to win the pennant.  With the win Maple City becomes the winningest franchise in ORWBL history as they are the first team to win 4 championships.  Maple City's Wes Ellis was named 2020 ORWBL World Series MVP after winning all 4 games on the mound while going 24-39 with a .615 AVG, 15 HR, 24 RBI, & 20 Runs. The ORWBL World Series has crowned the ORWBL Champions every year since 2008. WORLD SERIES HISTORY
