Heat fall in the Regional Final
NEW CARLISLE - For the second straight year, the Hudson Lake Heat fell just short of Wiffleball's Grandest Stage. The Heat were eliminated by ORWBL rival Maple City Magic in the Bourissa Hills Regional Final with a trip to Migley on the line. In 2014, the Heat knocked off the ISWB Moonshots in an upset before falling to the Clutch Players, 8-5, at The Palace of Bourissa Hills. This year followed a similar path. 'Dactyls eliminated by Warriors in surprise playoff bid
NEW CARLISLE - Sitting at 1-3 after Saturday's pool play games, the Bourissa Hills Pterodactyls had no expectations of playing on Championship Sunday. However, when Ruth's Plus One dropped out of their spot in the Hometown Cup Playoffs, the 'Dactyls, sitting at #33, were ready to fill in. Magic make another Hometown Cup Finals run
NEW CARLISLE - For the third time in four years, the Maple City Magic reached Wiffleball's Grandest Stage. Maple City went 7-1 on the weekend at Hometown Days and advanced to the Hometown Cup Finals yet again. The Magic were eliminated by eventual champion Cult West in the semifinal round, 22-13.
