NEW CARLISLE- The Sour Chicken Muffs and Newts had their first ORWBL showdown on Sunday in a matchup that both teams had been looking forward to. Both squad's went after the Cult West core in the offseason, but it was long time manager Koby Keck who was able to sway the core four to play for the Newts. LA PORTE- Jared Emmons and his Galena Marsh Dabbers made an immediate impact on the 2016 ORWBL season as they took 2 out of 3 from the New Carlisle Newts in their home opener in LaPorte. Cabo rallies for series win at South Bend
SOUTH BEND- Both the South Bend Sour Chicken Muffs and Cabo Yabos made their ORWBL debut's on Sunday in a series that did not disappoint. South Bend came out strong, taking Game 1 (4-3). Cabo responded in Game 2 however, with a 5-1 win. Both teams started to score some more runs in the rubber match, but it was Cabo who took Game 3 by the score of (11-6) to clinch the series win.
