The Wiffle®Ball Championship set for July 27-28
NEW CARLISLE - The Wiffle®Ball Championship returns to New Carlisle, July 27-28, 2019. One of the largest tournaments in the nation, The Championship features ORWBL clubs and other teams from across North America. The event features pool play on Saturday, with the top qualifiers advancing to Sunday's Hometown Cup Playoffs. NEW CARLISLE- The Commissioner's Office has confirmed that the Old Republic Wiffle Ball League will return for an eighth season in 2014. The league has always operated on a
year-by-year basis, but all indications point toward 2014 being the final season for the nation's
top slow-pitch league.
Uncertainty surrounds the league's future, but more importantly, many questions remain
unanswered regarding the action on the field in the upcoming season.

WILLS TOWNSHIP - The Old Republic Whiffle Ball League will be looking for at least one new
team in 2014, as the Wills Township Federalists will not return next season. Feds manager
Tony Koch informed the Commissioner's Office immediately after the team was swept out of
the postseason by the New Carlisle Newts. The Federalists entered the league in 2010, under the name We've Got The Runs. They

Regular season schedule announced
NEW CARLISLE- The Commissioner's office has released the 2012 Old Republic Wiffle Ball
League regular season schedule. Opening Day is slated for Wednesday, May 30 and the
season will wrap up on Wednesday, July 25.
Once again, three-game ORWBL sets will be played on Wednesdays and Sundays
throughout the summer. Games will not be held on Father's Day (Sunday, June 17) or the
Fourth of July (Wednesday, July 4). Additionally, the league will not play any games during the
