NEW CARLISLE- Although it seems like Opening Day was just a couple of weeks ago, we have officially reached the final week of the 2018 ORWBL regular season. National League wins the 2018 All Star Game in dramatic fashion!
NEW CARLISLE- The National League All Star team bounced back this year after losing to the AL for the first time in 5 years last season. The NL won a tightly contested Game 1 but the AL bounced back winning a 1 run game in extra innings to force the decisive Game 3. NEW CARLISLE- The 2018 All Star teams have been announced as the 12 ORWBL All Star Game will take place on Saturday, June 16th at the historic Migley Field. This will be the 12th consecutive season that the All Star festivities will be taking place at the Friendly confines. NEW CARLISLE- The 2017 NWLA Wiffy Awards were announced and the Old Republic Wiffleball League combined for 5 Wiffy's. Since 2010, our league has won a combined 8 Wiffy Awards so the 5 awards easily set the previous record from 2010 and 2013 where 2 ORWBL players or teams won Wiffy Awards.
