Cyclones stun Kings, winning all 3 in highly anticipated matchup
FLAT ROCK- In arguably the most highly anticipated matchup from Opening Day, the County Line Kings traveled to take on the Flat Rock Cyclones at The Barnyard in the first ORWBL series ever played there. The Cyclones had leaked a picture of The Barnyard a few weeks ago but the pictures might not do this top notch ballpark justice as the park is even better in person. OSCEOLA- The Twin Branch Billy Goats (20-4) advanced to the American League Championship Series after downing the four-seeded County Line Kings (11-13) in two games. With the win, the AL's top seed advances to their second conference championship in as many seasons. 2019 Home Run Derby Participants Announced
NEW CARLISLE- Prior to the All Star Game, the 13th ORWBL Home Run Derby will take place starting at 6:00pm ET on Saturday, June 15th. Maple City's Jared Jonkman will look to defend his title. Jonkman and New Carlisle's Koby Keck are the only participants in the field who have won an ORWBL Home Run Derby before. The winner of this year's Home Run Derby will earn a cash prize of $50. Like last year, the Derby will stay with the bracket style format with 1 minute timed rounds.

ROLLING PRAIRIE - After dropping five of their previous six games, the Olive Township Mechanics (11-7) bounced back to sweep the County Line Kings (8-10) at Rick Bloode Ballpark with scores of: 7-4, 7-6, and 12-5. NILES - The County Line Kings (6-0) continued their hot start in 2019 by sweeping the Great Lakes Godfathers (0-6) on Thursday night; 17-15, 10-3, and 9-3. Game one was a back-and-forth battle, with both teams piling on the runs. The teams combined for 32 runs in the opener as both offenses seemed to be in mid-season form.
