2020 ORWBL All Star teams announced
The 2020 ORWBL All Star Game is almost here as we are less than a week away! After rain forced us off of Migley last year, the All Star game returns to historic Migley Field as the AL and NL will square off in a Best of 3 series. The Home Run Derby will begin at 6pm ET as all 14 teams will have a representative. All 14 players will have 1 minute to hit as many Home Runs as they can. TWIN BRANCH- The Lynn Street Leprechauns traveled to Twin Branch to take on the Billy Goats in the lone interleague series of Week 4. The younger Doran Peyton took the mound for the Goats while Nate Hansen was on the hill for Lynn Street. LYNN STREET- A beautiful Summer’s day in New Carlisle didn’t start off too beautifly for the undefeated Granger Panthers. Evan King, the starting pitcher for Lynn St struck out three Panthers in Game 1, two of which were in the first inning. After 2 innings the Leps were up 1-0 with a little momentum. GREAT LAKES- The Lynn Street Leprechauns are fresh off of their first series win of 2020 after taking 2 out of 3 at Great Lakes on Sunday. Overall, it was a very impressive performance from a Leprechauns team who came into this series hungry for some wins after getting swept by New Carlisle on Opening Day.
