NEW CARLISLE- As the season concluded, ORWBL Managers had a vote for the 2018 regular season awards. All 14 Managers got their ballots in and the first award announced was the NL and AL Rookie's of the Year. Adam Cseh of the South Shore Silver Sluggers was named as the 2018 National League Rookie of the Year. Muffs fold after returning for 1 season
SOUTH BEND- Shortly after 2018 Rookie of the Year Mark Richards announced he would be leaving South Bend to form his own ORWBL team, Muffs manager Anthony Rieff ended any speculation of a 2019 return by formally announcing the Muffs would not be returning next season.
