2019 Home Run Derby Participants Announced
NEW CARLISLE- Prior to the All Star Game, the 13th ORWBL Home Run Derby will take place starting at 6:00pm ET on Saturday, June 15th. Maple City's Jared Jonkman will look to defend his title. Jonkman and New Carlisle's Koby Keck are the only participants in the field who have won an ORWBL Home Run Derby before. The winner of this year's Home Run Derby will earn a cash prize of $50. Like last year, the Derby will stay with the bracket style format with 1 minute timed rounds.

NEW CARLISLE - Last week's heavy rains left Sin City Field a muddy mess, forcing the Sage Road Sinners (0-15) to move Sunday's series to a neutral site, The Palace of Bourissa Hills. The New Carlisle Newts made themselves right at home, sweeping the Sinners, 12-0, 39-7, 22-1. Mechanics Sweep Sinners at Old Rock
NEW CARLISLE - The Olive Township Mechanics moved to 7-2 this season after sweeping the Sage Road Sinners; 9-0, 3-0, and 8-1. The Sinners fell to 0-9 following the sweep. The rainy conditions resulted in some ugly wiffleball on Sunday afternoon, with the two teams combining for just 6 home runs. NEW CARLISLE- The 13th season of ORWBL action kicked off on Cinco De Mayo with a new league record of 16 teams competing. With clear skies teams couldn't have asked for a better opening day. ORWBL to Expand to 16 Teams in 2019
For the first time in league history, 16 teams will be able to call themselves a member of the Old Republic Wiffleball League. This is the result of another two expansion teams joining for the 2019 season. Both new teams were announced via Twitter on December 8th.
