NEW CARLISLE- The league office has officially announced their plans to change things up regarding the New Carlisle Wiffle Ball Hall of Fame. As has been in the past, in order to be on the ballot, a player must not have played in the previous 2 seasons and must be in good standing with the league. The Wiffle®Ball Championship set for July 27-28
NEW CARLISLE - The Wiffle®Ball Championship returns to New Carlisle, July 27-28, 2019. One of the largest tournaments in the nation, The Championship features ORWBL clubs and other teams from across North America. The event features pool play on Saturday, with the top qualifiers advancing to Sunday's Hometown Cup Playoffs. NEW CARLISLE - The ninth season of the ORWBL is approaching quickly, as Opening Day is scheduled for its earliest date (May 17) in league history. While the league schedule has
been reduced 24 games, there will be no reduction in compelling matchups and storyline this
season.
Love them or hate them, any season preview has to start with the two-time defending World
Series Champions. The New Carlisle Newts enter 2015 with a target square on their backs.

2014 Postseason schedule released
NEW CARLISLE- Here are the dates for the 2014 Postseason. All teams without forfeits will qualify for the postseason.
Due to the seven-team league this season, the top regular season finisher will receive a bye
into the semifinals of the postseason. Tiebreakers for seeding will start with head-to-head
record and will be followed by run differential. Unlike the past, there will be no one-game
playoffs for first-place.

Early look at 2014
NEW CARLISLE- The Commissioner's Office has confirmed that the Old Republic Wiffle Ball League will return for an eighth season in 2014. The league has always operated on a
year-by-year basis, but all indications point toward 2014 being the final season for the nation's
top slow-pitch league.
Uncertainty surrounds the league's future, but more importantly, many questions remain
unanswered regarding the action on the field in the upcoming season.

Regular season schedule announced
NEW CARLISLE- The Commissioner's office has released the 2012 Old Republic Wiffle Ball
League regular season schedule. Opening Day is slated for Wednesday, May 30 and the
season will wrap up on Wednesday, July 25.
Once again, three-game ORWBL sets will be played on Wednesdays and Sundays
throughout the summer. Games will not be held on Father's Day (Sunday, June 17) or the
Fourth of July (Wednesday, July 4). Additionally, the league will not play any games during the

NEW CARLISLE- The Old Republic Wiffle Ball League will add two teams for the 2012
season, bringing the league total to ten. The league has operated as a ten-team league in
two other seasons (2007, 2009). Much like the inaugural season of 2007, the league will be
split into two five team divisions (American and National Leagues). This will result in
interleague play throughout the season.
