Newts sign Davis away from 'Dactyls
NEW CARLISLE- Just hours after the Cult West Warriors clinched the 2012 ORWBL World
Series, the New Carlisle Newts made their first move to prepare for the 2013 season, signing Chayse Davis to a 3-year deal. The agreement hinges on the team paying for his jerseys next season. It also includes a player option for the 4th year. New Carlisle had pursued Davis right before the trade deadline, however a deal could not be reached with the Pterodactyls. Davis hit .556 with 43 HR and 69 RBI in just 14 games for Bourissa Hills this season.
