Migley to host 2016 All-Star Game

January 30, 2016

NEW CARLISLE- Once again, Migley Field will be the site of the ORWBL All-Star Game, as both the league and the ballpark celebrate milestones this summer. The famed ballpark has played host to the previous nine All-Star Games dating back to 2007.

With the Friendly Confines commemorating its 10th anniversary this summer and the league marking its tenth season, ORWBL Commissioner Alex Friedman said Migley was the natural choice for the All-Star festivities.

Although the All-Star Game has been played at Migley every year, Friedman does appear to be considering rotating the site beginning in 2017.

The exact date for the All-Star Game has not yet been announced, as the league continues to formulate the full regular season schedule. However, the logo for the game has been released. Given it's likely the last year at Migley for a while, the logo takes on a Newts color scheme and is themed around Migley and the New Carlisle skyline.
