Panthers sweep Emery's Army to kick off their 2018 campaign

ROLLING PRAIRIE- After ending Emery's Army's 2017 season in the NLDS last year, the Panthers came right back as they opened up the 2018 regular season with 3 wins over EA.

After acquiring reigning AL MVP Tony Koch in the offseason, Granger looks poised to be even better this season and that says a lot after they finished the regular season 25-5 last year.

Koch fit right in with the Panthers regulars as they cruised to their 2nd straight Opening Day sweep. Granger will now get ready to take on the Cabo Cabo's in a tough inter-league game that will be played at the Goat House. The Panthers will be taking on Cabo at the same time and venue as the Leprechauns and Goats so it should certainly be a fun atmosphere.

As for Emery's Army, they will look to rebound on Thursday, May 17th at home as they will take on the defending World Series Champions, the Maple City Magic.
