ORWBL's Brightest Stars
Held annually at the midpoint of each season, the ORWBL All-Star Game showcases the league's best players.
Various divisional alignments through ORWBL's history has caused the format of the game to change from year-to-year. However, when ORWBL operates a traditional AL-NL split, the All-Star Game has determined home-field advantage in the ORWBL World Series. However, the Commissioners office announced that the 2017 All Star Game would not be played for home field advantage and that it will be a 3 game series for the first time in league history.
In 2021, the ORWBL All Star Game returned to Migley Field for the 13th time. The Home Run Derby kicked off festivities and it was Maple City's Jared Jonkman who came out victorious. Jonkman became just the 3rd player to win the event on multiple occasions joining Garrett Curless (3) and Scott Soos (3).
The All Star Game three game series began shortly after the conclusion of the Derby. Runs were tough to come by with the wind howling in all night long at Migley. The National League side was able to collect enough clutch hits throughout the night as they ended up winning the series two games to one, winning games 1 and 2 by the scores of 3-1 and 2-1. New Carlisle's Matt Soos took home All Star Game MVP honors as he delivered the Home Run that would put the National League up for good in the series clinching win.
