Dabbers add Zoo and Beav

LA PORTE - Jared Emmons is back in a managerial seat for the first time since 2011, and his first task is to build a roster for his Galena Marsh Dabbers. While it's no secret the bulk of the team will consist of Emmons-era Pterodactyls players, he has already picked up a few of his former New Carlisle Newts teammates as well.

Adam Rehlander and Jordan Colanese have both been acquired by the Dabbers from the Newts. Both players appeared in only three games for New Carlisle in 2015.

Rehlander, who signed a three-year deal with the Newts after winning the 2012 AL Cy Young with the G-Slugs, only appeared in 11 regular season games during his second stint in Migleyville. He did contribute to the Newts postseason run and first ORWBL title in 2013, but did not appear at all in 2014. Because of the missed year in the three-year deal, the Newts will get compensation from the Dabbers in the form of Pie Holes.

Colanese has been with the Newts since Emmons traded him away from the 'Dactyls in 2009. His seven-year run in New Carlisle was rather unremarkable, resulting in only one All-Star Game selection. The Newts have dealt him with nothing coming back in return.

Emmons has also added former Mill Creek Minutemen Joe and Steve Pravecek to the roster.
