Week 7 recap/Week 8 preview and the dramatic final weekend ahead
NEW CARLISLE- Although it seems like Opening Day was just a couple of weeks ago, we have officially reached the final week of the 2018 ORWBL regular season. After many people around the league were starting to have doubts about the Cabo Yabos finishing out the season, the Yabos played 9 games (3 series) last weekend. The Yabos boosted their record from 3-6 to 8-10 and will be making up their final make up series against the Magic on Saturday at Rose Park. With that being sai

Newts pick up a sun-soaked sweep in "The Rivalry"
NEW CARLISLE- NEW CARLISLE - It took a visit from an old friend to get the New Carlisle Newts (10-11) disappointing 2018 season back on track. New Carlisle swept away arch-rival Rolling Prairie, 2-0, 2-1, 4-1 on Sunday at Migley Field. It was yet another difficult day to hit, as the wind was blowing in from the north once again. The ten total runs scored by both teams throughout the series matched the theme of the entire season for the Newts, who wrapped up the home slate wit

The NL won a tightly contested Game 1 but the AL bounced back winning a 1 run game in extra innings to force the decisive Game 3. After the AL got back into the game, it was Scott Soos who walked it off with a series clinching Home Run. It was a great atmosphere as the National League stormed the field jumping for joy. This was the 12th OR

SOUTH BEND- The South Bend Muffs currently hold a half a game lead over Maple City for the American League regular season title. Regardless, the Muffs are in prime position to earn a Bye which will be very important in the loaded American League. A huge reason for the Muffs success has been Rookie and newly named All Star Mark Richards. Richards has to be the front runner to win the AL Rookie of the Year right now so I wanted to sit down and chat with Marky-Mark himself for

Q & A with Landsharks Manager and All Star, Levi Miller
ROLLING PRAIRIE- Many teams see their struggles in year 1 as an ORWBL franchise. We are seeing it now as the Golden Showers are still searching for their first win and we have seen it plenty of times in the past as Lynn St. won 7 games in their first 2 seasons and the defending ORWBL Champions went 8-34 in their first season as a franchise. Things are different in Saugany Lake as the Landsharks are currently on a 7 game winning streak and are fresh off of a 3 game sweep agai

The First-Half AL Awards Show Naming the AL MVP, Cy Young, ROY, and Gold Glover at the 2018 All-Star Break By: Aidan Cotter Just 9 games remain until the end of the 2018 regular season, but the first half officially is done as all-star voting is underway.
