LA PORTE- In one of, if not the most intense, competitive World Series in ORWBL history, the Maple City Magic became the 1st ORWBL franchise to 3-peat as World Series Champions. Playing against their rival New Carlisle Newts for the title for the 3rd time in 4 years and 4th overall, both teams were extra hungry to capture another Championship. NEW CARLISLE- After a back and forth start to the World Series in which we have already seen 2 series tied, the winner of Game 5 would make it 3 times that the series has had a new team leading the World Series. LA PORTE- Looking to steal home field advantage in Game 2 and split the first 2 at Magic Park, the New Carlisle Newts came in determined for success in Game 2.
